Udon Thani Train Station is located in central Udon Thani at the east end of Prajak Rd. It is nestled between two large night markets 'Udon Bazaar' and 'Preecha Night Market'. The station has daily services to Bangkok, Nongkhai, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Saraburi and Ayutthaya. The station building was refurbished using money donated from the revered Monk Luangta Maha Bua.
