Nutty Park is a small complex of bars and restaurants catering mostly to ex-pats and tourists. It's situated in central Udon Thani half way between Central Shopping Plaza and the train station on Prajak Road. Most businesses operating in Nutty Park open from midday to 1am, however some have different business hours so it's best to check first. Nutty Park is not just a complex of bars, it even has it's own massage and tattoo shop. You will find the following bars inside Nutty Park: Phon Tattoo Bar, UP2U Bar, Robin Hood Bar, Good Shot Bar, Last ATM Bar, Grasshopper Bar, Kangaroo Bar, Beer Too Far, Monkey Bar, Pla & Jerome Bar and Place2B Bar.
Udon Day and Night complex opened its doors to the public back in August 2008. The complex consists of western bars, restaurants and massage shops. The complex came about shortly after the demise of the old farang alley (row of Western bars) opposite the central shopping mall. It has now established itself as the new farang nightlife entertainment area. Bars located here are as follows: Vicki's Bar, Seven Stars Bar, Fifty Fifty Bar, Friendship Bar, G-Spot Bar, Hollywood Bar & Restaurant and Sister's Bar.
Located half way between Udon's train station and central shopping mall, soi sampantamit is home to over 30 ex-pat bars and the Udon Day & Night complex (above). Soi sampantamit, once a small sleepy soi with relatively little traffic, transformed itself into a new nightlife area after the demolition of the old farang alley opposite Central Shopping Mall. Bar located here are as follows: Orange Moon Bar, Sports Bar, Black Sheep Bar, Ice Bar, Nakita Bar, Erwins Bar, Happy Bar Dao, Bar Berry and Udon Day and Night Complex.
